At the 12th China International Aerospace Expo, which opened on the 6th, relevant institutions released a report predicting that in the next ten years, the average annual growth rate of the global unmanned aerial vehicle system field will remain above 20%, and the cumulative output value will exceed 400 billion US dollars.
According to the "White Paper on the Development of Unmanned Aerial Systems (2018)" released by Aviation Industry Corporation of China on the 6th, at present, the investment scale of the global unmanned aerial system industry has increased by 30 times compared with 20 years ago, and the annual global output value is about 15 billion US dollars. In the next ten years, the cumulative output value will exceed 400 billion US dollars, which is expected to drive the trillion-dollar industrial supporting expansion and innovative service market.
The white paper believes that the wide application of the civilian field provides an industrialization foundation and market-oriented vitality for the development of unmanned aerial systems. At present, unmanned aerial systems have been widely used in aerial photography and entertainment, agriculture, forestry and plant protection, security monitoring, geological surveying and mapping, power inspection, logistics and transportation and other fields. At the same time, it is also constantly exploring new concepts and scenarios such as urban intelligent air transportation systems and unmanned air logistics.
